We've now added private groups on Radius (Pro). You can mark a group as private so only approved members can see events, posts, and discussions.
How to enable it
Go to your group's Settings → Privacy and turn on Private group. You'll need an active Pro subscription on the group.
Non-members see a landing page where they can request to join. The group is also hidden from search, the map, and public feeds.
