  • Member moderation: organisers can now ban or remove members, and require approval for new joins.
  • Notification settings: organisers can toggle which email notifications are sent for their group.
  • Group page redesign: group pages now feature a tabbed layout with Events, Feed, About, and Photos tabs, a new header and banner section, and sidebar info cards.
  • User settings redesign: your account settings are now organised into dedicated pages for profile, connected accounts, notifications, privacy, and subscriptions.

  • Calendar subscriptions: subscribe to a group's upcoming events directly in your calendar app via .ics feed. Events stay up to date automatically — no manual syncing needed.
  • Events API: create events programmatically via REST API. Generate API keys in group settings and integrate with automation tools like Zapier, Make, or custom applications. Free for all groups.
  • Embeddable events widget: display your next 3 upcoming events on any website. Add the code once and it stays automatically updated with your latest events. Available in dark and light themes.
  • Multiple organisers: group owners can now promote members to co-organiser directly from group settings. New organisers receive an email notification and gain full event and settings access.
  • Promote buttons: a new Promote tab in group settings lets organisers generate embeddable buttons and links to share their group on external websites.
  • Social previews: groups, events, and blog articles now generate dynamic Open Graph images so shared links look great on social media, Slack, and messaging apps.
  • Rich text editor upgrade: switched to a new Lexical-based editor for event and group descriptions with improved formatting and reliability.
  • Pricing page redesign: the pricing page now features an interactive monthly/annual toggle and clearer plan comparison.
  • Activity feed on mobile: improved layout and usability of the activity feed on smaller screens.
  • Documentation overhaul: the help centre was rebuilt with a proper sidebar, better navigation, and richer content pages.
  • SEO improvements: added structured data, improved meta tags, and expanded sitemaps across the platform.

  • what3words locations: events can now include a what3words address for precise meeting points. Great for outdoor activities like cycling, running, and hiking where exact addresses don't exist.
  • Pro subscriptions: group organisers can now subscribe to the Pro plan to unlock advanced features and support the platform.
  • Group analytics: Pro subscribers can view membership growth, events over time, and attendance trends with customizable time ranges.
  • Group discussions: members can now create posts, comment on posts, and like posts and comments within their groups.
  • Enabled our activity feed which shows when users create new events or groups.

  • Added the ability to select interests in your profile, which we'll use for helping you to find relevant groups and members.
  • We revamped the groups map page to make it more comfortable to use on mobile.

  • Group URL editing: organisers can now change their group URL from the edit group page.

  • Group pages now support header and background images to showcase your community.
  • Group galleries: add multiple images to give members a better sense of what your group is about.
  • Related groups: organisers can now add related groups to their group page, helping members discover similar communities.
  • Event guests and speakers: add and display guests or speakers with bios, roles, and social links.
  • Event food and drinks: share what food and drinks will be available, including dietary options like vegan and gluten-free.
  • Event facilities: display venue facilities including WiFi, parking, accessibility, and AV equipment to help attendees plan ahead.

  • Event RSVPs now support waitlists for free, capacity-limited events. When full, guests and members can join the waitlist; when a spot opens, the next person is promoted and notified.
  • Guest RSVPs: attendees can RSVP and confirm without an account via secure email links. Capacity and event start-time rules enforced.
  • Added event cancellation support and new user email preferences.
  • Users can now message organisers, and vice versa, with built in email notifications.
  • Improved sidebar UI on group map page and updated landing pages for clarity.
