Members-only RSVPs

Let anyone see your group and events, and require membership to attend.

Members-only RSVPs keep your group public. Anyone can find the group, read its page, and open its events.Only members can RSVP.

This is optional and off by default. Turn it on when you want attendance limited to people who have joined the group.Discussion posts already require membership.

Turning it on

  2. 2Go to thePrivacy tab
  3. 3Turn onMembers only RSVPs

What people see

  • The group, its events, and public feeds stay visible
  • Guests and non-members are asked to join the group before they can attend
  • Pending join requests can attend after an organiser approves them
  • People who already RSVP'd stay on the event

Members see the usual attend button. Everyone else sees a short note on the event, and a message if they try to RSVP.
