Control which email notifications your group sends to organisers and members.

Control which email notifications your group sends to organisers and members. All notifications are enabled by default and can be toggled off at any time.

Accessing notification settings

  1. 1Go to your group's Settings page
  2. 2Open the Notifications tab
  3. 3Toggle individual notifications on or off, then click Save Changes

Available notifications

Each notification controls whether emails are sent for a specific type of group activity.

How it works

  • All notifications are enabled by default for new groups
  • Disabling a notification stops it for all recipients in the group
  • Members can also control their personal notification preferences separately
  • Changes take effect immediately after saving

Tip: If your group is very active and organisers are receiving too many emails, consider disabling "New post" and "New member joined" notifications while keeping "Membership request" enabled for moderation.
