Why use related groups

Linking related groups benefits both organizers and members:

Cross-promotion: Help members discover complementary communities
Network building: Connect with other organizers in your space
Member retention: Give members more reasons to stay engaged on Radius
Community growth: Tap into audiences with similar interests

Accessing related groups

To manage related groups for your community:

1Navigate to your group's page
2Click Admin Tools in the sidebar
3Select Manage Related Groups

Note: Only group organizers can add or remove related groups.

Adding related groups

From the Manage Related Groups page:

1Use the search box to find groups by name
2Click on a group from the search results to add it
3The group will appear in your related groups list

Related groups are displayed on your group's page, showing up to 5 groups with their name, image, and location. If you have more than 5 related groups, members can click to see the full list.

Tip: Look for groups that share similar interests, locations, or audiences but aren't direct competitors. This creates a mutually beneficial relationship.

Removing related groups

To remove a related group:

1Go to Manage Related Groups
2Find the group you want to remove and click Remove
3Confirm the removal when prompted

Note: Removing a related group only affects your group's page. The other group's related groups list is not affected.
